product is ok-problem was the specs state 30" wide space needed-unobstructed--i had 30 1/8 wide open --but was being mounted next to a wall on the left side (hinged side) - could only open door 3"--i have to take all my cabinets down and move over 1'' and buy a filler piece for cabinets--threre is no mention of this in any installation guide or specs!!!

this black stainless is really sharp looking and i am impressed with how it cleans up. it has many of the features i was used to in my old kenmore microwave. the fan works well but is quite loud on the highest setting. the light underneath seems to work well. i do like the interior capacity. the biggest pitfall i have seen thus far is that this microwave is only 1,000 watts. my old one was 1,100 watts. what's the big deal right? well i thought the same but it definitely takes longer to cook or heat food than my kenmore did. in all, i like the microwave for it's looks, it's options and how well it fit but i'm reducing it by one star due to the lower wattage and increased heating time.

Had this for several months now and am satisfied with its performance. It is beautiful in the black steel and very roomy and heats well on high. However some features are sacrificed for looks. I can live with it. Some are if micro timer is on, micro won't work, if exhaust is on and you need to use micro the exhaust automatically lowers to level 1 or 2. I only notice because my previous ugly micro had all these features standard. Still love it though.

I bought this microwave as part of a package and I have loved it! However, when I opened it the other day, the bottom part of the handle broke to pieces in my hand. It is out of warranty by about a month so I know it's going to be a project to get fixed.

I bought this microwave over a year ago and it's been the best one I've ever owned. It looks great over my stove/oven. My favorite feature is the popcorn function. The sensor really does work, and I can walk away without worrying about burnt popcorn. The exhaust fan works wonderfully as well. It's easy to clean and doesn't hold finger or smudge marks. My 91 year old grandmother loves this microwave as well, because it will beep every minute after she's warmed her tea up to remind her it's still in there.

I bought this a few months ago as a replacement microwave. I have installed many over the stove microwave ovens, so installation went well since all the holes aligned w/ existing holes. Instructions were limited but available online. The only other thing I needed to search was how to set the clock (Hit the power button for three seconds).

Bought this microwave because it matched my stove. I have bought Samsung products for 50 years and recommended Samsung to everyone. The quality isn't there any more. It is cheaply made and features not as good as my old microwave. Don't think I will be buying Samsung in the future. To bad when they make profit over quality.

Purchased with a range and smart fridge in black stainless to complete the set. Matches exact to Samsung black stainless with a brushed finish. Easy to clean with a microfiber cloth. Install is fairly easy along with switching the vent output for exhaust. Had two bulbs for range top lighting and multi speed fans

this microwave looks great. it worked great, but only for 3 1/2 years. there's no reason for a microwave to just die after 3 1/2 years. i'm very disappointed and will not be purchasing another samsung.

microwave isn't smart enough to have the unit operate while the timer is running. so i can't use the timer for something cooking on stove top and cook something in microwave at the same time. way too much time put into preprogramming how to cook fresh prawns or cook nachos and not enough time spent on simple functionality. i'm scared to see how long the unit actually lasts.

it has only been up in the wall for about 2 weeks, so far so good. it does not have a specific designated clock button, so it is very difficult to adjust and set the time. when the stop button is pushed, the display will go off, then you have to push it again to light it back up. when you start to defrost anything, the first 30-45 seconds it will shut off and you must restart it by pressing the start button. my previous samsung only lasted a bit over a year, but it had a beautiful attractive round type handle, this handle is flat and not feel good in the hand. i'm hoping this one lasts longer than the other one did.

i was told to buy the same brand if you wanted your handles to match. bought all samsung. turns out handles on new fridge and range match but not this microwave. the microwave sits directly above the stove so the different handles really stand out to me. may not be a problem for many but bothers me.
this microwave is very loud which is concerning. my final complaint is probably a minor one to most but we found it very annoying. the one feature we would use daily is not available on this model. miss the feature of a quick start (press a number from 1 to 5 and have the microwave run for that number of minutes) instead of pressing 2,0,0,start. may not seem like a big deal but after years of having that feature on numerous other microwaves, we miss the convenience.

i just bought this microwave 2 weeks ago and when i used the exhaust fan i can press the button and it cycles to 4,3,2,1 but he fan speed stays on 4. i requested service and the technician that came to the house couldn't fix it. in the end he said the fan speed is designed to be like that. does anyone have the same experience? is it really supposed to be like that.

The many heat selections are great too, especially the reheat button; the sensor takes all the guess work out. It heats quickly, and evenly. I've got a winner here!

I am in no way a food person nor am I good at using any microwave. My wife always gets mad at me when I call her for help so when we received this Samsung microwave she was very happy she would hopefully not have to help me that much anymore. This microwave is very easy to use and multifunctional. It has 12 cooking controls, 6 sensor control settings, and 9 preset food settings that make it easy for you to just press and start including popcorn, potato, frozen, veggies, reheat, and more. It even has a keep warm setting I'll have to ask my wife about ;) The microwave is beautiful and I love the sleek design and the black stainless steel really gives it a unique look. It heats food up quick and easy and is actually a lot bigger then I anticipated. The sensor cooking is cool and I don't know much about it other than it's supposed to sense what your cooking and make sure it's cooked right and considering all the things i heat up come out nice and hot it much work really well. I really like how well the fans filter and eliminate steam and odors and the filters can be removed, cleaned, and reused. I do find the digital control panel hard to see. A lot of times there is a glare and there is no backlight to make it any easier which would definitely help. The inside of the microwave is really nice and made up of a durable ceramic enamel, it throws 1000 watts of heat and makes saving left overs well worth it. Well don't Samsung with a few tweaks it will be perfect! I'd also like them to add a shelf for this microwave too!

I'm very happy with this microwave. It's sleek looking and brings a nice, modern look to my kitchen. It's easy to use and works well. It's smooth surfaces on the inside are easy to clean. It seems to heat food quicker, better, and more easily than my older microwave. The only complaint I have is the eco function button. The clock lights turns back after a short time, so i don't know how much it's really helping anything. I would prefer if it stayed off until I hit the button again. Other than that, I am very happy with how easy this micro wave is to use, how well it works, and how it looks.

We were fortunate we were able to purchase the Samsung ME19R7041 just when our old microwave was failing. Installation was a breeze as it took only a few minutes for the installers to have it ready for us. Aesthetically it is a very beautiful model microwave. This model has several convenient features. The ceramic interior makes it very easy to clean. The vent options are great. The LED lighting has high and low options. Samsung has built not only a beautiful but also a powerful microwave.

I received this microwave about a week ago, it matches my Samsung Oven perfectly! The size is great and it's very quiet. the large size make it accommodate our large square plates.I would definitely recommend this to anyone updating there kitchen. The stainless steel is super easy to clean.

We recently purchased this Samsung microwave to replace the OTR microwave that had broken. Installation was easy and requires two people. The microwave itself is great!! It heats the food evenly. We have used the beverage button which warms up a cup of hot cocoa perfectly. My husband did use the reheat button and was amazed at how well his food came out reheated to the perfect temperature. We love that there is an eco button we can use to turn of the digital screen. The exhaust on the microwave has been absolutely godsend in our home with the 4 different levels. The light underneath acts as a great night light in the kitchen for our little girls. Overall it was a great purchase, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the "manual" or lack there of. My husband and installer had to mess around with figuring out how to set the time, as there is no clock button. We recently had the power go out and I even tried to google how to set the time, but everything I found said to press the clock button, which this model does not have.

I really like this microwave. It's slick and heats things up fast, it's easy to clean. The range light is very bright and I love that there's four settings for the vent. My old vent used to set off the smoke alarm when the oven was heated too hot - this one I can have on low and no smoke alarm ever! I like the eco setting - but it always turn back on after a short time so I'm not really sure that it's doing what it's meant to do. I also had a really had time setting the clock. There's no instructions to do this and it wasn't really self explanatory on the buttons. I would make this a little more user friendly in that sense. Overall, a really good microwave though. It heats much faster than previous ones I've used and doesn't leave food with the half scalding/half still cold routine that you often get. I would recommend this product.

I am really enjoying my new Samsung over the range Microwave. My favorite part I'd have to say is definitely the working light over my stove. It has made it so much nicer to cook and I love the black stainless steel design. It goes with everything in my kitchen really well and is super spacious. I could probably fit a whole turkey inside this thing. It packs 1000 watts of heat and has 12 convenient cooking controls and 6 sensor controls options.
I've never been a microwave person and prefer to reheat or cook things on my stove or oven but with this microwave having not enough time to do it Is worth it. The food comes out so much better and evenly heated.
The sensor cooking is definitely new to me but apparently the microwave does the thinking for you so that you get optimally heated food every time which my husband really needs! This makes it much easier for even him to heat something up easily. The inside is made up of a durable ceramic enamel and not only looks nice but cleans easily and is scratch and stain resistant. There is a reusable filter that is simple to pop out, rinse and replace and the bottom ventilation system quickly eliminates steam, fumes and odors and is really great to have over your stove. The digital LED display is a little hard to see and I was surprised with the black it does not light up at all. I like the 9 easy preset buttons too for things like pizza, veggie, snacks, potatoes and more. It's definitely the nicest and most versatile microwave I have owned thus far and the only one I've owned with an Eco Mode Setting which helps conserve power by turning off the display when not in use.

I can't really say enough about this samsung microwave. My whole family is loving it especially the sensor heating. We have a bad habit of just throwing food in and hoping for the best but with this microwave its come out perfectly reheated. Not only do we love it for what it can do, but the fact that we switched from a counter top microwave to this above the range one and couldnt be happier with all the space it freed up. The kids do need a stool to reach it but it hasnt stopped them from using it for everything. The color of this microwave and the fact that its finger print resistant is just the thing you need when you have four sets of little fingers that seems to leave prints everywhere.

I had been on the fence about getting a new microwave for several months and I am so glad that I did! This is such a good looking microwave. It is sleek but huge! I'm pretty sure I could fit a whole turkey in there! The inside of the microwave is such a classic looking blue and is easy to clean. I especially love the keep warm and soften melt options for cooking and preparation. Overall it works better than I expected and I am obsessed with how nice it makes my kitchen look! Definitely cannot go wrong with this one.

This microwave is like no other. The elegance of the black stainless is just the beginning. The dark blue interior is a wonderful addition. Then there are the many microwaving options, my favorite being the 'reheat' as it has a sensor to heat your food to perfection; no more guess work. The 1000 watt heats foods in no time at all. I'd say this is the best investment I've made in a long while.

We were fortunate to be able to test the Samsung 1.9 over the range microwave. The ME19R7041 is a solid over the range microwave. This model is very easy to use and has all the convenient features. The interior has a ceramic enamel which makes cleaning lot easier than other microwaves. Its vent fan power is excellent with 4 different vent speed options. High and low light options are one the nice features of this microwave. The kids love the quick access sensor options- no more guessing how long to set to make popcorn!!! There are also several pre-programmed options. Overall an aesthetically pleasing and powerful microwave by Samsung.

Owning a Samsung microwave already, upgrading to a newer model was a great idea. I really like the way the Black Stainless looks in our kitchen. Using the new microwave was pretty much the same as the old, not a lot of changes , which I like. Some of the options have been streamlined to make the appearance less challenging. The microwave is a bit louder than our previous one, but I feel it cooks better and faster. Will report more as we use more functions. So far so good
