Mrs. G Appliances in Lawrence Township, NJ is an authorized dealer of Jenn-Air Products. Louis J. Jenn founded the company in 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The early focus of the company was commercial fans, then in 1961 Jenn-Air's integration of these fans to a cook-top range lead to the invention of the first self-ventilated downdraft range. The company then expanded its product line to include microwaves, refrigerators, dishwashers and many different small appliances.

Jenn-Air was founded in 1947 producing industrial fans. Focused on ventilation, Jenn-Air was the first to introduce a self integrated downdraft range in 1961. Nearly 50 years later, Jenn-Air is still the brand of choice for consumers purchasing integrated downdraft cooktops and ranges. On the success of its range, the company continued to expand its product line to include downdraft cooktops, wall ovens, microwaves, dishwashers and refrigerators. Jenn-Air was acquired by Maytag in 1982 which was subsequently purchased by Whirlpool in 2006 and is now considered the elite brand of Whirlpool Corporation's family of appliance brands.
In 2009, the company offered a new, ground breaking collection featuring several Jenn-Air appliances that won accolades for their performance.
