Very dangerous product. The front burners will turn themselves up to high temperature regardless of what you set them at. I saw that this was a problem with previous models and I figured that it HAD to have been addressed. Nope. If it wasnt for this Id like it but thats a pretty big snag

Dont waste your money

This is sadly the worse review I have ever given. I was so excited to get this stove since at the time it was so different but it was such a disappointment. It took me over an hour just to get the countertop clean because anything seeped into the grooves. The darn thing is a disaster I have to cover it because it looks horrible and one of the heating elements doesnt work.

Great kitchen range

I have had this range about a month now and I couldnt be happier with it. I replaced all of my kitchen appliances with LG products because they were highly rated on Consumer Reports. This is my first glass cooktop and it took some getting used to. I replaced all my cookware with ceramic to avoid any scratching. The burners heat up very quickly and cook evenly. Havent tried using both ovens at the same time yet but Im sure they will get a workout at Thanksgiving. I especially love the easy way to clean the ovens after every couple of uses. The quick clean cycle is indeed very quick and does a good job. I know some people have complained about the knobs being on the front but it hasnt been a problem for me. There are no children or large pets in my household. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to the holidays at my house this year

I bought this stove and shipped it to a country in Central America but the electric voltage doesnt work as it is not a 50/60 hz. its only 60hz. Therefore I am unable to use this efficiently. Upon purchase I think it is very important to label products which are not export worthy so the consumer is better informed. Due to this I have had to have a technician adjust some features but the main mother board chips out and the stove does not work. I think it advancing models making everything so digital using the main motherboard limits the usage of just being able to disable that part and manually just use the stove with the regular knobs. So therefore I am unable to give a decent review on this product because if the description upon purchasing by the company stated that this is not a good purchase for export I perhaps would have never purchased this one and chosen a model better suited for export to another country.

Although the first part that arrived was not correct even after the LG Service person determined the correct part number the second one that came arrived VERY quickly. I put it in and my wife now has her glass top range back up and cookin Now to get the incorrect part sent back for a full refund. Well see how that goes in the coming weeks

Flawed cooktop

I am on my 3rd cooktop in 6 weeks. Six. Weeks. After just a couple of hours of use it started to look like the 15 year old range I replaced. Local authorized repair company performed both replacements. Tech are mystified and LG is emphatic that this is not an issue. However a simple read of the posted reviews for this unit and its sibling with a single oven this is a lie. The cooktop is poorly designed and LG wants to deflect blame onto the consumer without any validation on their end. This was confirmed by the techs I spoke with. Appliance retailer is fighting with LG to get the return processed. Luckily the retailer is standing behind the product and will be allowing me to exchange for another range. The next one will NOT be LG. I dont know what happened but LG today is a shell of what they were 10 years ago when we bought our washer/dryer.

Good stove but some cheap features.

The stove top dials turn on too easily barely bumped into one and the burner came almost burned my hand. The gap between the glass top and the flimsy stainless steel panel with knobs catches debris and not easy to clean. Other than that we like the to stove.

Beware of this style of stove Burner knobs are easy to bump and turn on stove I would not recommend this type of set up on the stove for safety reasons The stove/ovens are great but at the risk of a house fireit is just a prime source for losing your home

Great Double Oven

I love having the double oven although its taking time to learn how to cook with Convection. The top of the stove however has chipped in the sides very easily. Ive been very careful with baking sheets but its just not durable at all.

Defective and unusable

Our brand new range is unusable due to a defective valve which is leaking gas. This is a major safety issue and LG is useless in resolving this matter. Due to the leak we had to turn off the gas and the stove is unusable. It has been 9 days and LG has not provided any way for this to be fixed or replaced. Their warranty process is not designed to help the customer.

Does not get to selected temperature - shuts off

It does not get to the selected temperature without shutting off. It allows you to select 550 degrees. However once its at 550 it gets hot then shuts off. Technical support says it gets too hot. An oven that gets hot. Seriously.

Promising perfect stove frustrating experience

The good-the oven is easy to clean. The interface is user friendly. I live the convection and the pizza setting. The not so good-the range arrived damaged. The entire stove was covered in dents and the front burner would not turn on unless other burners were also turned on. LG could not get the parts. We ended up with a refund and a bricked stove. Now after waiting months for resolution Im back on the hunt for the perfect budget stove.

I really like the range especially the double oven. Dont mind not have the drawer space on the bottom - was always a mess anyway. Used the small oven for most of the baking etc. and it does a nice job. One of the things I noticed about the burners is how evenly they heat. The whole burner heats up and not just the middle so things cook more evenly. There is also an extra large double burner - 12 inches so my biggest pans fit on it nicely.

Caught fire

DO NOT PURCHASEWithin a year of having the wire going to lower oven caught fire and had to be fixed. Year 3 the main wire bundles caught fire and shot fire out the top of the stove. Had I been standing there cooking at that time I would have gotten really bad hurt. Thank goodness I had just stepped aside to prepare my food. I called LG since it wasnt in warranty they said they could send a repair guy out to look at it to see if it could be fixed.... which honestly I didnt want repair since this was the second occurrence. Myself or my house may have not been as lucky a third time. LG then offered me a 10 discount off a new stove. Which lets be honest this day and time is nothing. So dont even offer.

Caution: writing on knobs wear off

I really like the oven and stove top. The bottom oven is hotter than the top but we know that now and cook accordingly. My biggest complaint is that the digits on the Knobs were off. I am the only one that can cook because I know the temps of the knobs without looking. I went to find replacement knobs and thought I was buying a full set of knobs because it was $80. Then when I received my shipment it was only 1 knob For $80 And Ive seen other reviews saying the replacements were off too I had to pay $10 shipping and am assuming I will have to pay $10 again to return it so I guess Im just out $20 and Ill be the only one that can cook in my house if I had to purchase again I would not buy this unit again simply because of my issues with the knobs. Seriously consider this before buying

The stovetop is the most difficult to clean ever. Not only that the entire oven stopped cooking at the appropriate temperature less than 4 years after purchase. As others have said the big knobs on the front turn on too easily if you bump them. I have a lot more to say about their repair service but LG does not want me to say it here so all I will say is this life is not good with this range and dont buy one.

Ive alway wanted a double oven stove.

I love this double oven. We use the smaller during the week using less energy and less preheat time but have the larger oven for big meals as well as cooking both at the same time. There a 12 inch burner which is great for our larger pans. This is our 3rd LG product. The oven controls timer etc are on the back of the stove but the burner controls are on the front edge. These can be a problem as they can be turned on accidentally by leaning over them but not as bad as the digital controls on the front edge which are more easily turned on or off by leaning on the controls. Cant wait to try the steam clean option.

Range has worked perfectly so far ovens and burners have been just fine. Lock feature also works great so that burners do not get turned on automatically due to leaning over the front of the stove. That seems to be a huge item among reviews lock feature works perfectly.

Very happy with the oven. Looks great and user friendly. We dont cook a lot of big items so the two smaller ovens/convection are perfect for us. So far cooking with the ovens and the stove top we have been getting good results.

Not the best experience

Out of the 6 months weve had our stove it was only completely functional for 2 months. The stovetop had a malfunction that was unheard of according to the technician. It took 3 visits and almost 2 months to have a technician give up and advised us to have it replaced. Stainless steel is not fingerprint proof and was possibly the worst appliance to keep clean i.e. streaks always present no matter how much effort went into cleaning. Otherwise oven capabilities have worked well.

This range has the ability to be accidentally turned on very easily and unfortunately today it nearly caused a fire in my house. I have a six-year-old who if she simply leans against the edge of the stove. It will turn on. Im afraid shes going to be burned by it. Poor Design for stove top knobs

Stovetop burner knobs are easily turned on and rotated constantly when cooking just a slight touch with stomach turns knob up or down. On several occasions I have nearly burned something was unaware the knob was moved. Multiple times I was just about to leave my home and noticed burner on indicator was lit up. Between the Stovetop and knob is a seam and food easily gets in this crack. Poor design need to relook.

Warranty repair poor from a to z. Company has not made it fully functional in a month . Technician has visited twice and is still unable to get all of the needed parts. Upper oven under heats and lower oven overheats. One burner on cooking surface not functioning properly.

I purchased a LG double oven from Sears.com in April 2023. I have been using my LG double oven stove since August 2023. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving 11/23/2023- the oven started smoking while preheating the upper oven. Then on Friday 11/24/2023 while using the right front burner the oven started smoking again. I could smell something electrical burning. A repair technician came Monday 11/27/2023. Told me a wiring harness has burned up. Since he said theres no manufacture sticker nobody will touch it Now I have to call Sears and find out what/ if they will repair my new stove.

When I bought it I thought it was a great buy besides spending more then I was expecting. It looks really nice but I almost burned my house down. The dials turned so easily that I didnt realized it turned on when I rubbed on it to gel a bowl from an upper cabinet. Suddenly there was fire smoke alarms going off....it was very scary. I will never buy another product with dials so easily turned.
