Beautiful and Functional

I have used both the microwave and the convection features. I replaced a GE Profile convection microwave with this unit. It is sturdy, well assembled and easy to use. It is notably much quieter than the GE and comes to convection temperature twice as fast. I don't think it has a mixed mode capability but still figuring things out.

Really disappointed.

Though the dealer knew where we would be placing this, he sold it to us anyway. The handle is an indentation in the right side of the door, instead of being mounted on the front . Since the microwave is flush against a wall, we can't reach the handle at all. Also, the power of the microwave is far superior to the microwave we had before, which is very disappointing.

I am impressed at how quietly is runs, and the finished chime is delightful to listen to. I would prefer the auto button be :30 seconds instead of 1:00 minutes.

This will be my third JennAir Air microwave, gladly this unit replaces a unit that just wa never all that great. So far the new unit is nicer looking and much easier to use than my prior units. Hopefully it wil also have greater success. I believe that jenn Air is trying to reestablish themselves as a better high end unit as what they were know as in the past.

Great to have the microwave/convection oven combination. Definitely worth the upgrade from just the microwave. Very attractive look with all controls on the door. Very quiet when operating, as are all of the new Jenn Air appliances we recently purchased. Both functions are working quite well.

looked great in the showroom, BUT in the evening with low lighting we can not see the touch controls on the front of the microwave... the engineers should have thought of that for sure... they could light up dimly when you walk near or touch the unit, but they did not design that into the unit, very frustrating!

We replaced a 1964 vent hood, to remove corners that projected into the kitchen, with cabinets and the JennAire microwave. Although pricey compared to others, the ability to enter any length of cooking time was the final reason for purchase.

I use the microwave to cook vegetables, heat coffee and generally make cooking easier when entertaining. Just adding that last bit of heat before putting something on the table is great. This microwave is big enough to let me use large bowls and platters.

We use the convection feature a lot more than I had expected. Easier to pop things in the micro vs. the oven (which is also convection). We have had a challenge with venting. Boiling water on the stove produces a lot of steam, and it isn't getting "sucked up" as much as I would expect. The front of the door is drenched. May need to investigate installation, but everything checked out ok in that department.

I was skeptical about cooking a pizza in the convection oven - how could it have a crisp crust when it was baked in a microwave oven? I can tell you it makes a simple frozen pizza turn out amazingly! It is also much more energy efficient to cook the pizza in a small microwave/convection oven.

I absolutely love my new convection microwave! The design is beautiful - inside and out. I even love the "food is ready" music instead of a loud buzzer. Though we are still learning about its capabilities, there are simple things that make it amazing. It makes the best baked potatoes ever with the potato button, for example. I'm just so pleased with it.

Love to bake and this is great for cakes and many pastries. Use this for cooking meats since I don't need to have a large oven capacity for two persons in the household . Best decision getting a convection microwave.

I love that the handle is incorporated into the side of the microwave so the appearance is sleek. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use, the interior is large and easy to clean. And the microwave is QUIET. My previous microwave was so noisy in comparison. This Jenn-Air is a treat to use. I have not used the convection feature yet. In a few months I will have a much better ability to evaluate this appliance, but I don't have any complaints so far.

Microwave has fantastic performance and well laid out, logical controls. The external vent option is a major plus. Operation is super quiet. The Stainless Steel finish is the easiest to keep clean [our Jenn-Air Refrigerator is a major pain to keep clean and the "Affresh" cleaner isn't the magic fix I've been seeking!'

Terrible Design and Very Noisy

There are so many things that need to be changed to make this a good product. Here are some: 1. The fan/vent comes on at speed 6, which means you need to press the button 7 times each time you want to turn it off. If you want to turn it on to a low speed you have to initially toggle it down by pressing the button 6 times. 2. The buttons are hard to push, they are not very sensitive to touch. 3. The vent is LOUD.....very loud!!!! 4. The vent does not work for the front burners on the range (I have a Jenn-Air range). Being as it so loud, it barely has any suctiona dn ios placed back pretty far so the front burners are too far away to pull the steam in. 5. The light.....is that really a light? It is so dull I can't even tell when I leave it on by accident in a dark kitchen. 6. The beeps.....too quiet and no way to adjust the volume. 7. Hopefully you love seeing fingerprints all over the display, because there is no way to avoid it, even with clean hands.

Service people were not willing to fix fan. I had to hire a general contractor to replace the pre-existing broken fan. This is after the service people showed up twice and said there was nothing they could do. VERY disappointing.

I like the appearance of the microwave, and it functions well. I would like a little more ease of use, such as one button for beverage, etc. I do not like the loud exhaust fan. It is hard to have a conversation when the fan is on full speed.

I bought this combo microwave/convection over about a month and a half ago. I use it all the time. My family loves it. We also have a large range. So heating up that oven for small things like after school snacks is silly. This little convection oven is perfect. We also love all the settings.

I knew I was going to want both convection and microwave capabilities in my new over the range appliance, but it was not until I actually used my Jenn-Air that I realized the side benefit of being able to bake in two ovens at the same time. Sure, it's a powerful microwave with the ability to brown via convection, but the convection feature can be used by itself. Turkey down below, rolls up above! Amazing, and much appreciated. You'll love it, too!
