Great Features when it works

Stovetop worked for 4 months then stopped working. Been without a a working stove for almost a month as service cannot get circuit boards to work correctly. Very frustrating experience so far.

After a couple of weeks the cooktop is working fine. I am happy with induction and the bridge feature works well. The cooktop makes noise which is bothersome.

We purchased this Jenn-Air induction cooktop to replace another manufacturer's 7 year old 36" induction cooktop that could not be repaired. We were concerned about the fit but it fits perfectly. It has updated features that our previous induction cooktop did not have including dual side burners and low settings- melt, simmer, keep warm. I LOVE cooking with induction. I cook a lot for my husband & I as well as for friends & family. Induction cooking is truly the best of all possibilities- either gas or electric. We have not had this appliance long enough to rate the durability so I left that blank. We truly hope this cooktop lasts longer as it is not an inexpensive appliance. We also have a Jenn-Air refrigerator which we purchased when we upgraded our kitchen 7 years ago which we are very happy with.

Seriously, I cannot believe I am gushing about a refrigerator, but I am. This thing is so clever and intuitive that every time I open it I am tickled again. Shelves that pull in and out to create space for big or tall items, door pockets of different heights and depths and a freezer drawer that is easy to use. Thanks for making food storage a bit easier!

I've had this cooktop now for 10 months. I love it for several reasons. First I was very confused and I needed to learn my appliance better and after a demonstration and studying the owners manual I have been able to have a great grasp of it. If I have a party and I need it to be shut down because I need to place things on the cooktop, I can lock it "off". When I am cooking with it it's really wonderful when you have two or three things going on with a different amount of time needed for each item. Each burner has its own timer! Awesome! When I use to cook recipes and they would tell me how long to cook something it was never accurate but now it is. And it cleans marvelously! I️ used to have a gas stove and even after spending an hour cleaning it it never looked very good but now I spend 30 seconds wiping it off And it looks just like new. I have also tried to simplify my kitchen so that I don't have so much "stuff". I really liked it that there is no reason to need a exhaust fan with my stove. My stove is in the island and I don't have to look around a exhaust area when talking to my guest. The other thing that makes this cooktop awesome is that it is so thin. Underneath my cooktop I have a huge drawer that I can put all of my cookware in and the cooktop does not extend into the drawer at all

I love the technology but I am worried about some intermittent behavior including spontaneous shut down, screeching, annoying click or pulse. one burner sometimes doesn't seem to shut off immediately when turning off. Annoying beeps when items placed on the stove. I hate the slide control. pain in the neck to find just the right spot sometimes. this touch control is just frustrating and takes too much time.

Recently finished our kitchen remodel and after a lot of research I settled on the 36 Jenn-Air induction cook-top. I was most excited about getting an induction cook-top and this has not let me down. Heats up fast, is the perfect size for my kitchen and most of all - clean up is a breeze, especially compared to the stainless steel gas cook-top I replaced it with.

Induction cooking is not well-known in the US yet, but it will gain in popularity as an ideal alternative to gas. It's actually safer if small children are around because the "burners" aren't hot to the touch (only to a metal pan), since induction is magnetic. The surface is very easy to clean and it's a sleek modern look.

I have used the cooktop for a few weeks. I was surprised (unpleasantly) by the noise the cooktop makes. It is an annoying clicking noise. I have very good pans so I did not anticipate a problem. My Staub and LeCreuset are less noisy than the All-Clad stainless. I also have a new Demeyer 7 clad made for induction and it is also noisy on the burner until it heats. I do not know if this problem is unique to the Jenn Air cooktop and I would recommend taking a couple pans to the appliance store to try the cooktops before buying. I am sorry I did not do that. I love the speed that water boils. An unexpected feature that I love is the ability to set a timer for each burner. I used this when cooking rice at the same time I was stir frying meats and vegetables and loved that I could set the burner timer for the rice and forget it. I love the clean lines and the ease of cleaning. Because the cooktop is not hot, it is easier to clean up any spills. I like the Sensor Boil option and the low heat options for simmering. It took some time to get used to the slide bar for setting the temperature. I am becoming more comfortable each time I use it, but it is very different from my old electric cooktop setting.

We upgraded from an older electric cooktop. I have cooked with gas all my life and needed a cooktop that is similar to gas. This cooktop is amazing. It heats so quickly that I really have to watch what I'm doing. I was able to use cast iron and sear steaks in no time at all. Very responsive controls to increase/decrease heat. So far, I'm liking this better than a gas cooktop. Word of advice-run a dedicated 50 amp line and breaker as this requires power.

I bought this cooktop during my kitchen remodel and heard great things about inductions heating. Many of the. Are true. The only frustrating part is having to get all new pots and I am still looking for a griddle that is flat enough for the left bridge burners. It does heat up very fast and the surface cleans beautifully!

We moved into a loft and put in a new kitchen. We had a gas cooktop in our previous home, but that isn't an option in the loft, so we opted for induction and could not be more pleased. The temperature control and nearly instant boiling are so nice. We used to think gas was the only way to go, but this has changed our minds. I especially love the ability to have the cooktop keep things warm without any scorching or burning.

36" induction cooktop is ok but only ok. I expected more from an induction cooktop and I higher end brand such as Jenn Air but it's not lup to my expectations. The cooktop does get hot faster then my old electric stove but not so much faster. I also have a few small pots that are smaller than the burners so I can't use them, forcing me to use a pot that may be too large for the purpose. Cooktop needs to have one very small burner. Also the beeps are annoying if I lift a pit or pan off the burner.
